Vintage kimono in Japan are given new life as they are re-tailored and shortened, which leaves scraps of loom-width kimono fabric (usually 13-14 inches wide). We have burn-tested all our upcycled kimono parts and verify that they are genuine silk or silk/poly blends. All pocket squares are sewn with a narrow rolled hem and mitered corners to prevent fraying, and measure approximately 14 inches square.

Choose from one of five unique prints. These are very special, made from the only scraps of these prints we were able to source, gently cleaned and cared-for so that they can find a second life in your pocket.

Because they are real silk, machine washing is not recommended! Hand-wash only, and lay flat to air-dry. Ironing may be needed if repeated folding leaves creases – use a dry iron on a medium-low or “silk” setting.
